So it seems that the Spider-man shoujo series (well, technically it’s a Mary-Jane series) was successful enough that Marvel now intends to make an X-Men shoujo series.
Manganews reports that Marvel announced two upcoming collaborations, which will both have manga-style artwork in the Western left-to-right format, at the recent New York Anime Festival. A shonen manga on Wolverine was probably to be expected, but they also revealed plans for the aforementioned X-Men shoujo.

The first 2 pics strike me as having awfully similar features to that of Clamp’s art. I guess it’s because of the pointy chin and the impossibly voluminous (sp?) hair the lady in the 2nd picture has.
Hmm… can’t be. wolverine looks too disgusting, like some wannabe who couldn’t make it; he is not meant to have a clean shave in the first place!
