I like my omelettes with onions.

I found this website when scouring google for the Legend of Dragoon theme song. Turns out, this guy pwns my ass pretty badly. Actually he pwns all of our asses badly, HOW? and WHY?

Take a look yourself. =D

P.S: Don’t forget to look in the Game music page, i found some cool stuff there. Worth a few “Click and Save As”s. Rofl.

PAH! He can’t pwn my ass if he forgot to put up “Hometown Domina” under the Legend of Mana OST. Still, having all those in MP3 format is convenient, I guess…

If you’re looking for more game OSTs, though, Zophar’s domain is always a good place to start if you don’t mind getting a few plugins for winamp first

I didn’t forget. I might’ve put it up had it not driven me crazy after hearing it loop about 400 times. Maybe it’ll be up in the next batch. That’s a general issue I have with the way the game utilizes the songs - the compositions are some of the very, very best I’ve heard over the past few generations, but they’re better in small doses. When an area starts to drag on about a half an hour or more with no breaks in the music (because it doesn’t change when you get into a battle, or in the case of towns, when you enter a building), I start to get annoyed by it. But then later on, when I’m not playing the game, I find myself humming certain songs in my head that I didn’t think I liked before (this happened to me with Gato’s theme and the desert/Mindas Ruins theme).

And, actually…I own the site and I’m not even sure how it pwns everyone’s asses. =/

I didn’t forget. I might have put it up had it not driven me crazy after listening to it loop for about 100 times while I was fully exploring that area. Maybe I’ll add it in the next upload. But that’s a general issue I have with the way the game utilizes the soundtrack. The compositions are some of the very best I’ve heard over the past few generations, but the game’s ares are so drawn out, that you’ll hear them loop about 100 times with no breaks before you’re done (because the music doesn’t change when you get into a battle, or in the case of towns, when you enter a building, like it would many other RPGs.) They’re better to listen to in small doses. There are times when I’m not playing the game that I find myself humming certain songs in my head that I didn’t think I liked before (such as the Duma Desert/Midas Ruins theme or the Cliff Town Gato music).

On a side note, I own the site, and even I’m not sure how it “pwns everyone’s asses”. =/

(Note: This might be a double-post. I submitted it once and it didn’t seem like it went through. If the other post shows up just ignore/delete it and use this one.)

    ZOMG HEESA 1OB TOO !!11!one!

But yeah, I’ll concede that point; I never really picked up Legend of Mana for restarting (lost the old save) because of the horribly slow pacing. Interesting idea, brilliant OST, but unravelling the story and completing quests takes bloody forever >_

Whoa. I didn’t think you’d post in here, does your website notify you when someone links to you from another website? Rofl.

Anyway, nice to see you browsing 1obn’s humble abode. I’m sort of in charge of the game reviews and stuff like that… sort of. But I belong to the generation that went,”Oooh! Aaaah!” when FF7 came out so yeah… Other than that I try to keep an open mind to the games (mainly rpgs) I play and judge them by their own merit… which means somehow I’ll say they’re playable in their own right at the end. Hmm, that’s not going to work.

Oh well, thanks for the songs though, what happened to your Top 50 songs page? I saw the comment that you took it down but I’m interested in what you put as the #1 song on that list.

    Thanks for visiting! =)

Never underestimate the power of the site tracker. ;)

The Top 50 is still there, but it got expanded into a general game ending songs article. It’s in the Rec Room. The reason why I changed it is because I didn’t want to have to take something down every time I discovered a new song I wanted to put on it. The constraints of keeping it to a Top 50 would’ve required that, and I thought it would be a shame to have to remove MP3s I spent time creating and uploading and that people would still want.

Oh, the Rec Room… I did take a look at that, but since they were in alphabetical order i really skipped quite a few. Actually I’m browsing it again now and realised you included one of Dark Savior’s OST music in.

Having close to no experience with the Sega Saturn, I chanced upon a few what-i-thought-to-be good games from reading an issue of EGM 9 years ago. But I can only remember 2, Shining Force 3 and Dark Savior, the latter being refreshed from visiting the Rec Room.

    Hmm… good stuff.
